We are seeking an experienced, high caliber Technician Sr, Development Quality. Provide Development Quality support to assure new or modified products conform to quality standards and establishes compliance with the quality system. Strong collaborative partnership with cross-functional teams that facilitates organizational success by protecting patient safety and meeting business needs. He/she works with cross functional teams and quality organization initiatives to maintain global regulatory compliance.

Impact this role will have on St. Jude Medical:
* Support on-time completion of Design Control Deliverables and ensure on-time execution of Quality Plans for internal development, OEM-based, Clinical Product Development (CPDP), and design change projects Support Design Verification and Validation execution, including active cross-functional root-cause analysis investigation & resolution activities.
* Support design test and inspection method development, and method validation activities Ensure DHF content completion, and integrity; collaboratively communicating & resolving gaps.
* Support and ensure on-time product re-certifications Complete Document Change Requests in a timely and objective manner Support multiple projects.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
* May, on occasion, work with a variety of R&D equipment, small hand tools, test equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
* Working environment varies from standard office/cubicle with air/sound/light control to general laboratory and production areas with varying physical conditions including “clean room” situations
Your experience(s), education and knowledge will further expand St. Jude Medical’s marketplace success:
* Working in a regulated environment with capital equipment with hardware and software.
* Technical or Bachelor level degree in Engineering or Technical Field (preferred Electrical or Computer). 5 years experience with Previous Quality engineering experience preferred, solid communication and interpersonal skills.
* Advanced computer skills, including statistical/data analysis and report writing skills
Your preferred qualifications and education:
* Prior medical device experience preferred
