We are seeking an experienced, high caliber Operator I to be responsible for the production of high quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell. Impact this role will have on St. Jude Medical:
* Ensure that relevant job documentation for cell operations and functions is accurate and up to date.
* Operators troubleshoot, interpret, cooperate and are flexible to allow for a successful self-managed team.

* Maintain accurate records to ensure traveler and quality documents are accurate, all parts are traceable and quality issues can be addressed to assure the quality of all products.
Your experience(s), education and knowledge will further expand St. Jude Medical’s marketplace success:
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Experience in a medical or other regulated production environment.
* Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision and meet deadlines on multiple projects.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the job, including the ability to set up and operate specialized and sophisticated automated/manual manufacturing equipment.
* Demonstrated ability to use magnifying devices (e.g., microscopes) and frequently used hand tools. Ability to enter information into a manufacturing software tracking system.
* The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is also required; this requirement includes clear, understandable speech and demonstrated comprehension skills.
* Must be able to maintain regular and predictable attendance; the ability work overtime is also required.
* Must have the ability to on occasion lift up to approximately thirty pounds.
Your preferred qualifications and education:
* 6 months experience working in a medical or other regulated production company preferred
* 6 months experience working on ablation catheter assembly preferred
