We are seeking an experienced, high caliber Business Analyst, Principal – Service Delivery to collaborate with key Global IT and business stakeholders to drive the infrastructure technology roadmap, policy and standard alignment, and governance processes surrounding these capabilities. The Business Analyst facilitates business and Global IT involvement in current and future infrastructure decisions resulting from both business needs and industry pressures. The Business Analyst acts as a liaison in understanding a business customer’s technology needs and carrying that message back to a responsible infrastructure IT staff for appropriate technology solutions. The Business Analyst will facilitate the recommendations through the official processes to move a concept from idea or need to supported solutions. The Business Analyst will also be responsible for facilitating the continued socialization needed to prepare the organization for technical changes made by the broader Infrastructure organization.

Impact this role will have on St. Jude Medical:
* Facilitates Global IT and business teams in defining appropriate and aligned technology roadmaps and standards.
* Partners with Global IT and Business units to identify technology dependencies and align the roadmaps of teams to meet the dependent needs.
* Maintains roadmaps and policies to meet the ever changing demands of the business and the industry.
* Responsible for socialization of the roadmap and gathering and driving action plans to address feedback.
* Facilitates meetings with the Global IT teams and business units to elicit, analyze and document current and future infrastructure technology needs and gaps.
* Balances needs and acts as liaison between the business and the technology areas as required to continuous alignment and multi-year planning that aligns the needs with supported solutions.
* Keeps informed of trends and new developments in technology to better advise management and technology teams of means to accomplish business and infrastructure goals.
* Builds and executes the processes necessary to build, maintain, and govern the Infrastructure Roadmap, Policy, and Standards.
* Builds and executes the processes to facilitate the lifecycle of technology from idea through its life to retirement.
* Performs technical and process activities as needed to mature the tools and capabilities needed for these processes.
* Provides Global IT and end-user training as needed in support of these processes.
* Communicates effectively with management to enhance their understanding of the opportunities and limitations of infrastructure systems.
* Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
* Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. * Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
Your experience(s), education and knowledge will further expand St. Jude Medical’s marketplace success:
* Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
* 8 years of Information Technology experience.
* 7 years of experience working with technology policies and standards.
* Experience across multiple infrastructure capabilities including end user, directory services, server, storage, datacenter, network, and security.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills. Able to bridge communication between technical areas and business areas for a full and complete understanding of expectations.
* Ability to multi-task efficiently on several simultaneous efforts.
* Ability to drive requirements and project work through to closure.
* Experience in training material creation and delivery, using a variety of training methods.
* Ability to create quality processes.
* Experience writing technical policies and standards.
* Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
* Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
* Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
* Ability to travel approximately 10%, including internationally.
* Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
